United Auto Workers-Daimler Truck agreement draws praise from Biden

The United Auto Workers’ recent organizing efforts have seen success, including a breakthrough in organizing workers at the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They are also aiming to represent workers at nine other foreign automakers with American plants. These efforts follow a successful strike last fall at General Motors, Ford, and Stellantis.
